prop design & rendering

In prop design, I give careful consideration to the dramaturgy and the show’s visual aesthetic.
I enjoy focusing on detail, texture, color, and aging.

As the Scenic Design Intern at the Muny, my primary job was/is designing props for all seven productions over the summer. I assisted and supported six different designers/design teams with all of their needs, while learning about their individual processes and methods. My responsibilities included creating both paper props and physical elements.

Previously, I worked as a props artisan at Carnegie Mellon Drama, where I applied skills in scenic paint, model building, graphic design, drafting, and more.
