prop design & graphics

In prop design, I give careful consideration to the dramaturgy and the show’s visual aesthetic.
I enjoy focusing on detail, texture, color, and aging.

As the Scenic Design Intern at the Muny, my primary job was designing props and scenic elements for all seven productions over the summer. I assisted and supported six different designers/design teams with all of their needs in a fast-paced environment. My responsibilities included creating both paper props and physical elements, as well as assisting with set decoration.

Previously, I worked as a props artisan at Carnegie Mellon Drama, where I applied skills in scenic paint, model building, graphic design, drafting, and more.
